Carttec has participated, for the first time as an exhibitor, at the III National Congress on Dependency and Healthcare, held at Ifema from 7 to 9 March as part of HIP 2022

The proposed solution was Horustec, and a keen interest was shown in the product by professionals from the social and healthcare sector, including nursing homes, hospitals and detoxification centres, primarily due to the range of functions it offers, such as the real-time location of vulnerable patients with tempero-spatial alterations, in the event that they become disorientated, or even lost, on the premises. It enables the monitoring of unwanted movements of patients or residents, sending warning signals to staff and generating automatic responses such as door locking or alarms. For the peace of mind of family members and guardians, the system is highly effective and provides the security the patient needs.

Also very important is the possibility of locating assets such as mobile equipment (mobilisation cranes, special beds, treatment equipment, wheelchairs or diagnostics, etc.) that are constantly changing rooms or floors, being able to determine their position for immediate control and disposal. In addition, in the event of unauthorised movements, it generates real-time alerts to prevent theft of this equipment.
