THE IDEAL TECHNOLOGY TO STOP THOSE WHO DON’T GO THROUGH THE CHECKOUT

Purchek technology prevents theft of goods from the store. When the customer enters the retail space, the Smartwheels on the trolley are activated so that they are ready to lock if necessary. When the customer passes through the checkout at the end of their purchase, the Smart Wheels receive the signal, allowing the customer to exit the store. The system provides the possibility to control checkouts which are closed to prevent theft of purchase through them. At no time is the customer aware that the Purchek system is in operation.

In the event that a customer does not pass through the checkout, the Smartwheel does not receive the signal that allows the customer to exit and the trolley is locked, immobilising it. In addition, just before the wheel locks, an alarm is triggered to alert store personnel that a possible theft is taking place. The alarm is audible and visual.

Purchek is complete with a security camera that stores the images of the attempted theft, making it possible to identify both the thief and the product they have tried to steal.

The Purchek anti-theft system avoids confrontation with criminals, thus also protecting the sales floor personnel.
