Overall increase in passenger traffic: a common factor

  1. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL): The airport remains the busiest terminal in the world, handling more than 100 million passengers annually. This number represents an increase of 11.7% compared to 2022, consolidating its global leadership.
  2. Dubai International Airport (DXB): Dubai Airport has climbed three places in the world ranking, with an impressive 31.7% increase in passenger traffic compared to 2022. 
  3. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW): This US airport has handled nearly 81 million people, making it one of the main airline hubs in North America.
  4. Heathrow Airport (LHR): The London airport has climbed four places in the ranking compared to the previous year, registering a total of 79 million users. 
  5. Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND): Despite a 55.1% increase in passenger numbers to 79 million, Haneda airport has yet to regain pre-pandemic levels, remaining 7.9% below its previous figures.
