Several workers injured in warehouse accidents

accidentes en almacenes

Recent studies indicate that 73% of European workers worry about having accidents in warehouses, highlighting a growing concern.

According to the INSST Annual Report on Accidents at Work 2023, 647,495 accidents resulting in sick leave were recorded, of which 86.3% occurred during the working day. In Europe, the situation is quite similar. Workers have concerns that they may be injured at their workplaces.

Warehouse accidents are a cause of growing concern

In July 2023, in Ciudad Real, an employee was injured after getting trapped between two machines in a fruit warehouse. In 2024, another employee in Guadalajara suffered a crushed hand while on the job.

These are just a few examples of the growing problem of accidents in warehouses. At Carttec Group we aim to create safe working environments, which is why we have developed an effective, tailored solution to solve this: Crash Stopper:

This prevention system reduces the risk of accidents to practically zero, protecting personnel, materials and the industrial vehicles themselves.

The ultimate anti-collision alarm system

  • Warehouse vehicles equipped with Crash Stopper are fitted with GPS beacons and alarms.
  • Workers wear GPS bracelets that identify them as obstacles.
  • Using three alert levels, this system reduces speed or stops the vehicle in the event of an alarm.

Preventing warehouse accidents is fundamental to the success of a company and is our main objective as designers of solutions to achieve this. If you are looking for a security system for your commercial vehicles, Carttec Group is the team you need on board to provide it. Contact us for more information.
