We optimize shopping cart fleet management at every stage of the day through precise, integrated technology.
Throughout the day, a shopping cart is constantly on the move: it leaves the cart corral, enters the store, travels through the aisles, passes through checkout, returns outside, and eventually makes its way back to its starting point. Each of these movements can provide valuable strategic information while also serving as a key control point for operational efficiency.
- 8:30 AM — Initial Monitoring: The cart leaves the corral and begins its journey. From its very first movement, CartTrack counts it, keeping overall information on available fleet levels up to date.
- 11:15 AM — In-Store Tracking: The cart continues moving throughout the store. During this journey, Horustec identifies and locates assets in real time, providing complete visibility into where they are and how they move throughout the day.
- 1:40 PM — Loss Prevention at Checkout: The cart reaches the exit after a purchase has been completed. This is where Purchek comes into play—a technology designed to help prevent merchandise loss at one of the most critical points in the cart’s journey: the store exit.
- 4:25 PM — Return and Recount: The cart returns to the corral. With this new movement, CartTrack updates the count again, providing an accurate picture of how many carts customers have returned and maintaining precise visibility into the fleet currently in use.
- 6:10 PM — Perimeter Security: If a cart attempts to leave the designated perimeter, CartControl immediately locks the wheel. It is the ideal solution for defining permitted usage areas and preventing carts from being lost or stolen beyond the established boundaries.
This is what a day with our shopping carts looks like: journeys that begin and end at the cart corral, while remaining monitored every step of the way.
CartTrack, Horustec, Purchek, and CartControl work together at different points throughout the day to provide greater control, maximize asset lifespan, and ensure a smooth and secure shopping experience.
One cart. Four technologies. Every move under control.
